TRYOUTS

Tryouts for Arsenal and Arsenal World Class will be held over two weekends;

May 16-17 and May 30-31

Tryouts will be held in three locations; Fieldstone School in Montvale, Pascack Hills HS in Montvale nd Superdome in Waldwick. Any updates or changes will be posted here.

To be clear, the age groups listed are the age for next fall, not current age group. So U13 Girls on Friday are actually this seasons U12 teams.

**PLEASE NOTE CHANGES**:

Due to construction on the track around the turf field at Pascack Hills, we will have to move a few age groups. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Only three age groups will be moved, as follows:

FRIDAY, 5/16 6:00-8:00 U13 GIRLS GO TO THE WALDWICK DOME

SATURDAY, 5/17 8:00-10:00 U12 BOYS GO TO FIELDSTONE

SATURDAY, 5/17 10:00-12:00 U11 GIRLS GO TO WALDWICK DOME

We left three age groups at PHHS; U8 boys on Friday, and U9 girls and then U11 boys on Saturday. These sessions will be on the practice football field. That is at the top of the hill, above the turf field and parallel to the grass soccer field on Akers.

GENERAL INFORMATION

All players on current roster must attend at least one of the two scheduled sessions.

All new applicants should attend one of the two sessions available for their age group.

All children should have a soccer ball, shin guards, cleats and a drink.

No Arsenal apparel should be worn to tryouts.

A trainer from World Class will run the tryout sessions allowing the coaches to focus on the evaluation process.

Following the second session of the age group, the coaches are expected to meet immediately after to select teams. A member of the Board will be available to assist.

PROCEDURAL INFORMATION

All players will report to the registration table where they will be given a tryout number. The player will be instructed to use the same number if attending both sessions. Tryout Form

During the team selection meeting, each coach will receive the registration forms for each player chosen. If the coach takes the form, he is committing to contact the player and offer him/her a place on his roster.

The registration forms of players not chosen by a coach will be kept by Jeff Schneider and will be available to any coach who needs additional players. Letters will be sent out to all players not selected two weeks following tryouts.
